Marlo (Maria Lourdes) Pasion, LCSW, CPRP
Assitant Vice President of Training and The Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery

Marlo (She/Her) partners with New York State mental health and wellness support provider communities to cultivate and reinforce people’s resilience. Her diverse direct social work practice experience includes human services within the domains of youth residential and youth outreach, families with children diagnosed under the autism spectrum, mature (older) adults, survivors of domestic violence, and outpatient adult mental health. Prior to joining The Coalition for Behavioral Health, Marlo served as program director at The Mental Health Association (MHA-NYC)’s Harlem Bay Network Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) program. She has presented in national, statewide, and citywide conferences on various topics under Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Recovery-Oriented Practices, and she has previously served in the role of Training & Implementation Specialist for The Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery. Marlo received her Master's in Social Work (MSW) from The Silver School of Social Work at New York University (NYU), and she is a certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation practitioner (CPRP) under the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA). She is currently a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor, certified Work Incentives Practitioner (WIP-C), and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). Her lens for direct practice is ever evolving, and strongly aligned with Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Recovery-Oriented and Humanistic principles, as well as Systems theory.

Natalie Lleras, LCSW, CPRP
Director of Training and The Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery

Natalie maintains more than fifteen years of experience in the field of mental health working directly with populations of individuals who manage mental health conditions and the providers that collaborate with them. She has a history of training development, clinical practice and leadership in areas including that of special education, PROS, International students and with profit and nonprofit organizations. Natalie has worked abroad in Shanghai, China with expatriate families regarding cultural transitions, developed community resources, and authored articles related to mental health and living abroad. Most recently, Natalie was the Clinical Director of Rockaway PROS for Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens. She has also presented at local conferences on the topics of supervision, recovery-oriented practice and psychiatric rehabilitation. She is a graduate of New York Universities Silver School of Social work and maintains Clinical licensure in the field of social work.

Stephanie Bouillon, MSW, NYCPS
Training & Implementation Specialist

Stephanie has a wealth of experience collaborating with New City Mental Health providers regarding utilization of peer staff and implementation of person-centered and trauma-informed principles. Possessing 9+ years of non-profit experience, she started her career in psychiatric rehabilitation at New York City's first Crisis Respite Center - a part of the Parachute NYC. From there, she went on to work as a Training Specialist, then onto one of New York City's most notable Mental Health Peer Training program- Howie the Harp Advocacy Center where she worked in a peer supervisory role. In these roles, she assisted with the creation of trauma-responsive policies, procedures, and supervisory practices. She is a graduate of Hunter Silberman School of Social Work.

Gregory Kanhai, MS.c
Senior Training & Implementation Specialist

Gregory A. Kanhai, M. Sc. Senior Training and Implementation Specialist has worked directly with marginalized populations in New York City focusing on immigrants, on people with disabilities and on LGBTQI+ individuals. He has trained stakeholders in the areas of trauma-informed care, differential diagnoses in individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders, and immigrant mental health. He holds degrees in neuroscience and psychology, and has contributed to articles on mental health and brain function. 

Andrew Hamid, PhD, MSW
Training Specialist, The Coalition for Behavioral Health; Professor of Social Work, Columbia University

Dr. Hamid holds an MSW (Univ of Toronto), and PhD in Social Work & Psychology (Univ of Michigan). He has extensive clinical and supervisory experience in the field of substance abuse. He has been on the faculty of Columbia University’s School of Social Work for the past 25 years where he teaches primarily in the area of substance abuse, motivational interviewing (MI) and also in international health & social development. At Columbia’s Medical School, he teaches in the area of MI and health behavior change. Over the past 2 decades, Dr. Hamid has been actively involved in delivering professional development workshops to Human Service agencies across the US and Canada on the application of MI to a wide range of client populations. More recently, he has been engaged in facilitating workshops on the cultural adaptability of Motivational Interviewing in various parts of the developing world.

Patricia Feinberg, MS Ed
Benefits & Work Incentives Practitioner/Peer Educator

Ms. Feinberg currently serves as a co-facilitator, in the Introduction to Benefits Management series and is a benefits consultant at her NYC office, where she disseminates information about work incentives. In her work, she draws upon her personal experiences navigating the system. Ms. Feinberg is certified as a Benefits and Work Incentives Practitioner by Cornell University. Patricia Feinberg received her BA in Psychology and Early Childhood, and an MS in Special Education from Hunter College. Previously, she worked as a Peer Educator at Steinway Clinic and as a Dialogue Trainer for Health and Hospitals Corporation in NYC. Ms. Feinberg has authored articles in New York Nonprofit Press and Mental Health News. She has also appeared as a guest on several of NAMI-NYC Metro’s ‘Mental Health Update’ biweekly cable TV shows, and is featured in educational videos including the Coalition’s own ‘Empowering Lives Through Community Mental Health’.
