Leading the Way to Recovery

Participants will learn key elements of leadership. The training will explore communication tools directed toward change. Storytelling will be used as one approach to identify common values, improve interpersonal skills, and inspire meaningful changes within people in recovery, providers and program cultures. Real world examples of how personal narratives can spark recovery will be included in the training. Peer-providers are encouraged to attend.

This session runs from 9:30am - 12:30pm. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 9:00am. Lunch is on your own.
