E-Learning

The Coalition is pleased to partner with Essential Learning to offer our members discounted web-based continuing education and training opportunities in the areas of behavioral health, developmental disabilities, substance abuse and child welfare.  Online training is convenient and cost-effective.

Essential Learning has a library of more than 300 accredited online courses which can be taken at one's own pace and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Courses are concise, comprehensive and relevant to help staff improve their understanding in key topic areas and acquire new skills.  Select a course, complete the online exercises, and take the test for CE credit.

Our partnership with Essential Learning offers Coalition members discounts on individual online courses as well as a web-based Organizational Learning Management System that an organization can subscribe to and have customized for their training needs.  The learning management system includes tracking, assigning and reporting features for managers and HR personnel.  It also supports a blended training approach using classroom, community and online educational programs.  Check out our Continuing Education page (CEQuick) for more information.

Coalition members receive a 10% discount on courses and the Organizational Learning Management System.  Please email kkrampitz@coalitionny.org or call 212-742-1600 x103 to request the discount code to use when purchasing individual courses.
