Director of Administration

The Coalition for Behavioral Health, Inc.


Provides administrative direction in all areas related to the day-to-day operation of the organization, including office services, infrastructure and other corporate support functions. Interfaces with outside vendors and other applicable administrative agents related to these functions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Coordinate, direct and plan a variety of activities to ensure that the organization operates efficiently.
•Manage and oversee facility, maintenance, space allocation, etc.
•Centralize operations that cover many departments such as front desk, mail, printing, records management, etc.
•Improve program and service quality by devising new applications, updating procedures, evaluating system results with users.
•Oversee the implementation of all information technology infrastructure resources needed to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the organization including the sharing of data as required with outside parties and government agencies.
•Coordinate all procurement and office support to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the organization.
•Oversee and direct the activities of all vendors, professional service firms (including legal, IT, etc.) and other contracted parties performing services for the organization.
•Work with the President & CEO to develop effective compliance and quality improvement capacity of the organization.
•Prepare periodic management reports that detail the operations of the organization including administrative activities, expenditures and other relevant data.
•Coordinate planning and logistics for agency events (legislative missions, conferences, etc.).


•Effective communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent presentation, training and coaching skills.
•Ability to multi-task and be accommodating to changing priorities, high attention to detail.
•Effective use of software and web-based applications – Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint preferred.
•Ability to navigate and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
•Organization, creativity, and resourcefulness, with a drive for quality.
•Sophisticated approach to problem solving, communications, and outcomes.
•Comfortable working in team environment.
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in management or a related field. Master's preferred.
•Minimum five years' experience in management of administrative, operational or infrastructure activities.
