Schedule Options Are:

Option 1: Sunday through Thursday, 3 PM to 11 PM, days off Friday/Saturday

Option 2: Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM; Monday through Thursday, 3 PM to 11 PM; days off Friday/Saturday

Option 3: Wednesday and Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 3 PM to 11 PM; days off Monday/Tuesday

Option 4: Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM; Wednesday and Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM; Friday and Saturday, 3 PM to 11 PM; days off Monday/Tuesday

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provides supervision for Substance Abuse Counselors.
Monthly chart auditing for the timely and accurate submission of all SAC’s clinical paperwork.
Provide SAC’s with a sense of direction and compelling purpose towards the accomplishment of goals/mission by consistently communicating and supporting employee ownership and involvement in the agency’s strategic plan and priorities.
Directly observes the clinical practice of employees in all formats.
Provide crisis intervention when needed.
Report all clinical emergencies to Unit Director whereby using 24 hour on-call contacts effectively and efficiently and provide 24 hour on call supervision for counselors on duty at the facility.
Create and monitor monthly staff schedule.
Conduct yearly evaluations and give growth plans for Substance Abuse Counselors.
Approve Learning Experience/Contracts created by counselors in a manner commensurate with their developmental level in this area.

CASAC, LMSW or LMHC preferred
Experience working in a residential treatment setting
Experience working with adolescents
Supervisory experience required
Position requires standing for long periods of time in order to ensure proper floor supervision of clients
Commitment to providing quality services and outcome driven performance measures.
Excellent organizational management skills with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance clinicians, set and achieve program objectives.
Strong networking and public relations skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures
Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
Experience with AVATAR electronic health records a plus
