The Jewish Board
The Manhattan West Counseling Center is a specialty clinic serving transition age youth (14-26 year olds) and includes multiple school satellites, On Track, and a small satellite at the Manhattan Jewish Community Center. The program provides innovative services to transition age youth (TAY) and is staffed with clinicians knowledgeable in developmental issues associated with TAY and skilled in providing evidence based treatment.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the clinical, fiscal and administrative functions of the Clinic, including On Track and its satellites.
Ensure program operations are run efficiently to achieve meaningful client outcomes, prevent service disruptions, ensure timely access to care, and ensure program services and operations are in compliance with regulatory agencies.
Responsible for the budget and works closely with the fiscal department to minimize revenue loss and ensure contracted programs are providing services within the scope of the contract.
Provide supervision and training to managerial staff and will be responsible for direct supervision of prescribers and some clinicians.
Work closely with multiple Jewish Board departments and external agencies to provide quality services and improve treatment outcomes.
Knowledgeable of all regulatory requirements and agency policies and procedures and clinical standards.
EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
Master's Degree in Social Work and LCSW required or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Outpatient mental health clinic or with a clinical program providing services to adolescents and/or transition-age youth.
At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory, management and leadership role.
Knowledge and experience in at least one evidence-based practice required.
Knowledge of OMH, OMIG, and other regulatory bodies.
Proficient computer skills including experience using an electronic health record.
Excellent engagement and communication skills.
