Program Director, Licensed Housing

Weston United is seeking a Program Director responsible for administration and clinical direction of the Bishop House (20 unit) licensed residential program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain full capacity throughout the fiscal year. Actively participates in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures ensuring contract compliance with standards established by the agency. Prepare monthly HUD billing and ensure successful OMH, REAC and HUD audits. Provide weekly documented supervision to staff including case managers and residence counselors to ensure that services are provided effectively. Conduct monthly apartment inspections. Ensures program oversight that staff achieves required monthly contacts to all consumers and that consumers are referred for medical and mental health services when required. Ensure that consumers obtain and maintain all entitlements including Medicaid. Ensure that all consumers receive quality clinical services. Provide, create and monitor all quality improvement systems to ensure that all chart documentation and contract requirements are up to date at all times. Participate in all management meetings, incident review committee and trainings. Attend monthly Community Board meetings as assigned. Maintain program staffing pattern. Monitors time and attendance, scheduling of staff, approve leave requests and prepare timesheets for payroll processing. In consultation with supervisor and HR Director recruit, train, orient, promote and discipline staff. Complete performance evaluation, in-service education training and weekly documented supervision of staff. Follow all fiscal procedures, ensures accuracy and submission of all fiscal/CAIRS reports in a timely manner as required. Ensure that all contract reports are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Participate in the planning and implementation of the budget with the Fiscal Department. Oversee petty cash and monitor all transactions. Completes and submits all related document as required on a timely basis.


MSW and/or Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) preferred with two years progressive supervisory and/or management experience. Candidates must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel; experience with AWARDS preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
