Program Aides - 41 Bed Save Haven For The Homeless

The Bridge


The Bridge, an innovative and well respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions is seeking Program Aides for a 41 bed Save Haven program for homeless individuals. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: monitoring entry to and exit from the residence; providing timely documentation in visitor logbook; conducting routine walk-through of the building including all floors, the basement, and all entrances to ensure the safety of residents and staff; performing phone reception duties; performing related clerical and administrative duties; assisting in setting up daily meals for clients at specified times; obtaining License as a Fire Coordinator; responding to client crises in a manner specified in the Policy and Procedures Manual; preparing program for inspections; attending staff meetings, supervision and trainings as required; any other duties as may be assigned.



High School Diploma or GED. Experience working with the street homeless population; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Spanish speaking a plus.
